In response to the question “What is it?” or “What is this page about,” I would like to state that, as everyone knows, scent is the most potent sense in humans. One of the most remarkable and versatile senses in the human experience, scent enhances and broadens our numerous contacts with the outside world. More than only alerting us to the presence of something unpleasant or aromatic in space, odors may accomplish more. Even within our species, the remarkable, intricate, and multifaceted sense of smell in humans has the power to enhance and broaden not just the human experience but also the wonderful memories that permeate our lives.

Therefore, it is important to consider why I am discussing the sense of smell instead of addressing the main point. It’s a build-up for you to understand what this site is really for and what you (the readers) will get from it. what I will cover here will lay the groundwork for you to understand in a simple & easy way. As a fragrance blog writer, my intention is that I will make my observations of perfumes, essential oils (attar), and colognes I have used for over a decade.

As you guys already know online perfume is made by extracting scented oil from natural ingredients then adding alcohol then adding scent and then adding water and glycerine, that’s how a perfume is made. Even though there are more steps, I am just telling you guys as simple as possible. So, this thing you guys already know, but I want to tell you guys that perfume brands will not tell you their secret recipes like how they made it, what is the process, and all. But they will tell you about notes which is important for all who are interested in perfumes. Perfume brands do add labels in the bottle that what ingredients they used but the most important thing is to know the notes. There are mainly three notes top notes, middle (heart) notes & base notes. And one can identify the perfume notes based on their lasting effect on the skin. When you spray or use perfume on your skin you will smell the top notes, after some time you will smell the middle of the heart notes and lastly you will smell the base notes. And how you about these notes there is a simple way and that is the smell. Once you use a perfume first some moment you will smell one kind of smell then you will smell a slightly different smell and after some more time, you will smell another different smell. That’s how you can differentiate the notes and you can see how long it lasts. As I said earlier, I will try to make it as simple as possible so please if some of you (the experts) find these are not a proper description, take & accept my sincere apology as I am trying to make it as easy to understand as possible.

Most customers struggle to understand the notes and explanation of these substances and are left confused when they choose their essential oils (attars), perfumes, or colognes. Thus, the better option is to educate them so that they can quickly understand and decide about buying perfumes. Say, “An extremely effective way to do this is to not describe the notes, but to tell them exactly what season that perfume is for. Is it for fall or it is for winter or for spring or for summer, that will be extremely helpful. Also, tell them if it’s for casual wear or if it’s for date night wear, and if it smells mild or strong. These are some great ways, and this make customers’ lives as smooth & easy as possible.

It is what It is!

Now the real question is what will or what can I provide to make your (readers) decision about perfume go amazing (Woo-hoo!).
